Our full scribe round log structures are crafted from selected eastern white pine. We use a shrink-to-fit saddle notch corner that retains its tight fit as the building settles. The logs are hand drawknifed and coated with sanson log guard to prevent mould build-up in the notch area. |

Commonly, the design process can be accomplished by our in-house design and technical team and the home owner, but quite often outside architects and designers may be involved. Our designers and technicians also incorporate electrical and mechanical systems, as well as alternative energy systems into the timber structure. |

Eastern white pine is the most common species of wood used in our frames, but many other species of wood are available - oak, ash, hemlock, cherry, douglas fir, or a combination of the species - the choice is yours. |
